RainWise Rebate Program
Reduce Basement Flood Risk — and Get Money Back for the Work
Certain drainage and foundation-related improvements may qualify under EPCOR's RainWise rebate program. We help structure projects correctly from the start — so you understand your options before work begins, not after.
In many cases, the work you already need may qualify for rebates — if it's planned properly from the start.
EPCOR's RainWise program provides rebates for eligible drainage improvements — work designed to reduce the amount of stormwater entering the municipal system. The types of improvements that qualify often overlap directly with what homeowners need to address drainage problems, basement water intrusion, and foundation moisture issues.
The program has specific requirements, and the planning has to happen before work begins. Projects that are completed without structuring the scope to meet program criteria typically cannot be submitted for rebate consideration after the fact, regardless of how the work turned out.
CrackStop assesses whether a project may be eligible as part of the initial evaluation. If the work involved could align with RainWise program criteria, we discuss how to structure it properly — so homeowners understand their options before committing to a repair plan, not after.
This isn't a separate service. It's part of how we look at a project from the start.
How RainWise Projects Are Structured
The process below reflects how work is evaluated and executed when RainWise eligibility is a consideration.
Site Evaluation
We assess the drainage and water-control conditions at the property — what the problem is, what work is required, and whether the scope may align with program criteria.
Structuring the Work to Meet Requirements
If the work may be eligible, we discuss how the project scope, sequencing, and documentation should be structured before any work begins. Projects that proceed without this step typically don't qualify after the fact.
Submission for Approval
Where applicable, the project is submitted for program review and approval prior to work commencing. Approval is required before eligible work is carried out.
Completion of Approved Work
Work is completed within the approved scope. This is a straightforward repair or drainage project — we just make sure the documentation and process match what the program requires.
Work That May Fall Within RainWise Criteria
The following types of work are commonly evaluated under RainWise program requirements. Eligibility depends on site conditions, program approval, and how the project is structured.
Eligibility is subject to EPCOR's program requirements and approval. We do not guarantee rebate outcomes. We help structure projects that may qualify, depending on site conditions and program criteria at the time of submission.
