Foundation repair companies have a reputation for using fear to sell expensive jobs. We built CrackStop to be different. Our inspectors are trained to diagnose — not to close sales.

We'll walk through your basement, look at every crack and moisture issue, and give you a straight answer about what needs to be done and what doesn't. If your crack is cosmetic, we'll tell you. If it's serious, we'll tell you that too — along with exactly what we'd do and what it would cost.

We also offer second opinions at no charge. If another company — including larger multi-location operators like Shield or Groundworks — has given you a quote that feels larger than expected, we're happy to take a look and give you our honest read.

In most cases, the repair methods and materials are similar across companies. What differs is overhead. We'll tell you whether the scope and pricing you've been quoted are reasonable — and what the same work would cost with us.
