RainWise Program

RainWise Drainage Solutions

Drainage improvements that address real basement water problems — and that may be structured to meet RainWise program requirements.

The work that addresses your drainage problem and the work that may qualify under RainWise criteria often overlap. The difference is whether the project is structured and submitted correctly before it begins.

When CrackStop evaluates a drainage or waterproofing issue, we look at the full picture. If the required work may fall within RainWise program criteria — depending on site conditions and program approval — we discuss how to structure the project from the start. This is a practical consideration, not a selling point.

Perimeter Drain Systems

Installed around the foundation footing to intercept groundwater before it builds up against the wall. The discharge point must be properly designed — a detail that affects both performance and RainWise program compliance.

Sump Pump Systems

A properly sized and positioned sump pump is the primary discharge mechanism for most perimeter drain systems. Installation includes discharge routing — a requirement under RainWise-aligned project structures.

Surface Grade & Drainage Corrections

Grading issues that allow water to pool against the foundation are a common source of basement moisture. Correcting surface drainage can be part of a broader RainWise-aligned project.

Downspout Disconnect & Redirection

Roof drainage that currently enters the storm sewer can often be redirected to infiltration areas on the property. This is a core element of many RainWise submissions.

Exterior Waterproofing as Part of Drainage Work

Where exterior waterproofing is being performed alongside drainage improvements, the combined scope may be evaluated against program criteria. Project structure determines how these elements are assessed.

What "RainWise-Aligned" Means in Practice

Work described as RainWise-aligned means it is structured, scoped, and submitted in a way that is consistent with program requirements. Eligibility is subject to EPCOR's approval at the time of submission.

We don't guarantee rebate outcomes. We ensure homeowners understand whether their project may qualify before work begins — so they're not left asking the question after the invoice.
